Knocking from trans
Hello all wanted to get everyone's input on a knock coming from the bell-housing area. It knocks when engine is hot or cold. it seems to go away right above 1200 rpm. The faster thre rpm's the faster the knock until 1200 rpm. It makes no difference if i push in the clutch or not, It knocks at idle and under load. Knocks in all gears. I am in the process of removing the trans since this is where the noise seems to be coming from. I Have read alot of post saying it might be loose flywheel bolts or cracked flywheel. What does everyone think it could be?
