Not a stupid question at all. Basically, any vacuum line that plugs into the intake will work. If the 96 is like the 99 and 2003 I have, there's a PCV line that runs from the driver side valve cover to the intake. That's the easiest one to use because it's large enough to make it easy to introduce the seafoam.

Before you do this read up on how to use seafoam. It's not just stick some in a vacuum line.

96-98 Cobras have the same PCV as the rest of the cars listed above. That line will work for seafoaming.

You don't want to just dump it in. You need to have the car running, likely with someone behind the wheel to keep it running, then you add the sea foam slowly through the vacuum line.

My mechanic/neighbor has a canister with a pressure valve that connects to an air source. Fill the canister with seafoam, insert one end of the canister into whichever line you're looking to seafoam and open the gauge. Change your psi as needed and that's that.

Ha people i know how to use seafoam. Simply asking witch line to use on a 96-98 cobra . As it does not have the same break booster setup as my 5.0 or my tahoe had. I know i cant just dump it in . Itll bogg out the car like its in water . Also only suppose to use 1/3 of the can in each use. Well dependig on how old your car and how long its been since youve done somethjng
