Seems that parts that are made by humans fail. Not a thing you can do about it, except fix it and move on. I guess be thankfull you weren't at 6000 rpm when it broke.

Yup. I'm going to guess this was on the pulley bridge? Are you pullied down any, especially with a lower? The high RPM's and stress on the supercharger drive can tend to grenade stock pullies due to their relatively weak stamped construction. If you're spinning them real high or hard, most guys go to billet pulleys.

The good news is that they're on a secondary drive, so if you do have a failure, you lose your supercharger and alternator, rather than your steering, brakes, and water pump. That's usually enough to limp it home.

...of course if this new Cobra is giving you problems you could always sell it to me...

Its for sale if the right price comes along , it was the one right next to the crank pulley stock lower and 2.76 upper.

Something like these is what you need:
METCO Billet Idler Pulley 90mm or 100mm METCO Billet Idler Pulley 90mm or 100mm [MI-MIP] - $60.00 : JLT PERFORMANCE, Home of the JLT TRUE COLD AIR KIT

I know Lethal has them but for some reason Lethal's site wasn't loading for me.

...how about $1000 than you paid?

Yea I was driving through town when this happened past the police station so not quite sure what was goin on. I could see if i was making some high rpm passes but i havnt really gotten into the throttle much since its not tuned yet.
