Random question about centi supercharger head units and brackets
I see people selling vortech and procharger head units for 2v motors all over the place for decent prices, I was just wondering where I could buy a bracket that would make a 2v head unit work on my Mach 1. I would end up running a large pulley makin my own intake out of pre bent piping running to a front mount along with all other nessasary hardware. I just wanna see if there is a bracket made that I can use because it seems like this would be cheaper and easier install for boost. I just wanna have more options for when I want a power adder

the head units are the same, a P1SC for a mach is the same head unit used for the GT kit. You just need to go to the man. of the unit and buy the bracket for your car/engine.

He's saying he just wants to buy the bracket then buy a used head unit.
I'd just call procharger or Vortech and ask them if you can buy a bracket only. I would think their vendors, if they had inventory, would have them as complete sets. On the Maxima vortech kits, when Stillen went with the V2 they changed the brackets to aluminum. The V1 steel brackets became very popular because they didn't have the roasted belt problems from the bracket plates flexing. A guy bought my supercharger kit and went to a local machine shop and had them copy the bracket using steel like the old sets had, he sold the brackets under the same concpet of going out and buying your own head unit as well as having something that was stronger. Long story short you could find a similar car as yours that's going to install a supercharger, borrow their bracket and have someone machine you a new one if nothing else. Doubt that would be the cheaper route though and who knows the legal ramifications. Good luck on your search

Thanks guys both are great ideas, I'll probably look for the cheapest route, I'm just trying to push a few pounds maybe 6 or 7, nothing major, that's why I don't want to get into anything expensive.
