SVT Lightning Issues

The L is my DD and its been 10-60 degrees here the past few mothns. When I leave the car parked for a while overnight or something and go to start it the next day. Its a really hard start

Starter turns over fine, but the motor feels like its about to fall apart, same way it drove when I launched a spark plug. Whole truck shakes for a second then itll catch and rev up to about 1500 and drive fine all day when its warm.

Any ideas? Heres a video of a cold start today where it failed to start on the first try..

Im about done with these Fords if it turns out to be something major

Ive only owned the car for 12k miles from 86-98k, got the oil changed at ford last oil change was about 200 miles ago and it was doing it before that.

Havent changed the fuel filter

Blew a spark plug back in July had it helicoiled and its been fine ever since and has done that one the temps dropped below 50*

I say clean the MAF and IAC valve. Yea it just happened when the temps got cold, but maybe its coincedence and thats when it got dirty enough to throw it off.

And another thought, if you had the plug helicoiled in, maybe they over drilled the head hole, and your helicoil is shrinking with the colder temps, resulting in a compression loss until warm. Maybe not enough to rattle the plug out, but enough to bleed off most of your compression. Maybe cold start it with that plug boot off and see if you can hear the compression leaking out through the plug well.

When it hesitates like that it apears to be a fuel issue. A common problem is clogged fuel filter, failing pumps, or the Y that joins the 2 fuel pumps has split.

Would a fuel issue go away after its warm? Ive heard of the Y pipe issue on LightningRodder.com

Im going to take it in next week once I get the Mustang out of storage so I can have them test it on a cold start.

Both cars will be for sale soon fortunately and unfortunately
