K&N Problem

I found an old thread about this, but didn't feel like reviving it. The previous owner of my 04 Mach 1 installed a K&N FIPK 2 CAI in my car. I've read about M/T stalling while coasting to idle, my car has a A/T and have noticed the RPMs blip between about 800 and 1100 when I coast to a stop. I was wondering if anyone knows if a tune will fix this. I plan on buying a SCT tuner from AM soon.

When you cleaned the t/b did you clean off something that was like a thin gel coating?

Didn't look for the screen, I'll see if the previous owner left it in, I'll look for it. If not it might be in the box with the OEM intake he so generously left with the car.

I think I tried that. I just removed the gasket from the screen and make one with splicing tape and put it between the thing and the other thing. Yea, don't ask me for instructions for stuff. Whatever, I made it work. Thanks for the quick responses though guys.
