EGR delete questions
Engine is out, getting ready to be built, I'm doing some planning and thinking about deleting my EGR to clean things up a bit but i have a question. The pipe that comes up from the rear of the drivers manifold to the EGR valve also goes to the DPFE sensor. What am i to do with the DPFE, tune out the code, or leave that section of pipe up to the DPFE?

The DPFE and all lines to it are removed along with the egr and tubing. Follow this link and then rep Tink for making this so simple. I did mine a couple days ago and it was super easy with the motor IN the car. Your tune will have to have an egr delete provision. Call AM's Bama department and tell them u are deleting the egr and they will set up the tune perfectly.

Yeah its totally no sweat- I was able to do it in the middle of a drivetrain conversion whti a hack saw, grinder, drill, and a quarter stuffed in the female end, covered in RTV and tightened to the exhaust. 20k miles and its still there, working lol.
