Single Blade TB Worth It?

Just saw a single blade Accufab TB and polished plenum for sale. I was wondering if the gains from it are worth it. Currently I've got a pullied/ported Eaton M112 on it. I know they say gains are minimal with a stock Eaton, but how about a pullied/ported one? Not to mention my cams and LT's should help move things a bit more too.

Any thoughts on whether I should pounce on this or not?

i would keep the stock setup, unless that eaton is the only sc going on the car. if your trying to ring that shammy dry then i would say it will have some minimal gains.

Well the guy is just offering it so damn cheap it's hard to pass up.

Not to mention for the next stage I'm thinking of going compound boost instead of twin screw. I think it would certainly benefit that application.

I think I might throw the guy and offer and see if he bites.

On minor bolt-on car they really only help with smoother idle and better throttle response. BUt if you can get it cheap enough, do it. They do help out a good bit with say a whipple or a KB.

I watched a video from Stiegemeier that showed that a twin blade actually flows better than a single blade. They bench tested it and proved it with flow numbers. I suppose I could try to find the video later after classes

I'm not going to believe it.

Direct from Accufab's website:

They also put up dyno results versus stock.

Unfortunately I went to go put in an offer to see that the TB sold earlier this morning. Oh well.

I meant a ported twin blade, not stock

You would have to hog the hell out of that TB. The difference in cross sectional area alone is massive. Plus we're talking an extra 600cfm of flow rate, thats about 54% over stock! You'd be hard pressed to achieve that.

Also I believe my TB/plenum is lightly ported/polished, though I can't quantify to what extent.
