stock eaton pulleys... new to the termi's

so i am getting a termi around may/june and im looking for a cobra around 50,000 miles or so but the stock eaton will be on it and i just had a few questions to ask?? first. can a 2.75 pulley go on stock eaton to get a 5-6 psi of extra boost. what else can i get to upgrade all pulleys. what are they called?? what can and cant work on the stock eaton but get the most power out of it? thanks

Anytime you add boost I would suggest a tune. Its just the safest way. A good rule of thumb on boost is for every 1 pound of boost is equal to 8-10 HP.

You can change the upper and lower pulleys on it to get more boost out of the Eaton, but you can go too small and overspin it to where you are actually hurting yourself instead of helping. I myself prefer to just stick with changning the uppers.

A good example on power levels of these cars, my buddies 03' has a 2.76 upper, CAI, midepipe, catback, and tuned it made......446hp/477trq to the wheels. That is about average #'s for the mods.
