cobra r spoiler for my 01 cobra??

Hey guys this might get flamed but o well im going to try, i love mustangs and know so much and i have good reasoning behind this logic, so im in the market for a spoiler and want either a saleen spoiler or this cobra r.

So i want a cobra r because i love the cobra r and i have a cobra r front bumper kind of except without the lip built into the front bumper itself. I want to get the cobra r spoiler because ppl will think its ricey but really it has alot of ,meaning and comes from an amazing car i love the cobra r's more then termi's.

So i just want to see you guys opinion be honest if this is stupid then im going to just get the saleen wing but this idea has been haunting me i had to let it out lol.

i once had a Cobra R wing on my car...in my younger days...
all i can say is it IS F-in' huge lol.

i had it for a year and ultimately replaced it with my stock one. this spring my stock piece will be replaced with...yet another stock wing

one from a 99/00 GT. i like those better.

if you're sure about wanting it, go for it. to each, their own!

I say no! If it's not a real cobra R then it doesnt belong. Plus the saleen or 03-04 cobra wing looks better IMO>

Yea i figured trust me im really picky when putting things on my cobra that arent cobra parts its just the 01 cobras spoiler well its just really ugly and im tired of the spoilerless look, yea i was leaning more towards the saleen spoiler anyway just wanted to know how you all felt about this idea haha

And i never want to look like the dumbass guy driving a mustang that you laugh at for having a stupud part on the car lol i figured that the cobra r spoiler on my car would def. Give that vibe off

I had coil overs up front with 14" 175lbs springs and lowered as much as I could. The rear had H&R SS springs. Wheels were black chrome FR500 18x9 18x10. Nitto 555 265/35/18 front and 555R 305/35/18 in the rear.

Its pretty hard to pull off the R wing, but Ive seen it done a couple times. I've had a Saleen spoiler sitting around for quite awhile, but I got cold feet after buying it. Now Im thinking about the Termi spoiler or just wingless.

It's not a real 03/04 Cobra or Saleen either.

Personally I think the Cobra R is a bit on the large side, though it does give downforce. Unless its a Cobra R (or clone) or sees a good deal of track time and needs that downforce, I'd stay away.

Saleen wings look great, cobra R wings are hard to make look acceptable. You wont regret going with the saleen.
