need help 03 cobra charging problem

I have a full build cobra i cant seem to get it to charge I got the batt in the back with 0 gauge +/- wiring bought two new alt the new alt checks out good but if I let the car run for about 10-15 mins it will die or if i pull the + off it will die i did a volt check 13.4 with the car off start the car it drops to about 10.8 -10.6 what is the charge wire on the alt ?

a short somewhere? and does your cobra really have 1148hp?

yes it does have 1148 hp at 27 psi on oxygenated fuel from vp I went ahead an bought a new engine wiring harness from ford going to see if that helps if not i give up i will keep ever one posted i will try to get vid of the car on the dyno my buddy was the one with the cam I haven't talked to him for a few months

My street tune is for 93 pump 15 psi 18% 780hp thats is a super safe tune there is alot more power if i wanted to have them mess with the timing the car looks 100% stock no cage no mods to body

You mean if you pull the positive wire off the battery it will die? If thats the case then of course it will die because it has no power to spark, and if your alt is new and charges well you can rule that out. I would pull out the battery and have it tested to see if it can hold its charge and i would also do a continunity test on the battery cables to make sure theres not a break somewhere. But with your car running you should have at least 13.4-13.5 volts at the battery.

also check the wires on the alt to make sure they are hooked up correctly and follow the field wire from your alt to you battery to make sure that it has no breaks in it
