The rest are really based on your opinion and I highly suggest going on YouTube and finding clips of anything before you buy it. Analyze it and decide what you want. My personal opinion is SpinTech and I think Flowmaster is a good "go-to" if you are not sure. However, there's a ton of choices and just someone's opinion of what they have (like mine) probably won't do it.

It really depends on if you are looking for Baby-eating soul-crushing noise, or just a nice note.

Personally, V8s need to destroy villages with noise, so I love SpinTech.
+1! SpinTech's are absolutely nasty! i love mine, and i'll probably never put any other muffler on my stang or any other stang i own. when i get my car back i'll post a sound clip of my Stang: Mac l/t's, o/r Prochamber, and SpinTech catback...

L/T's, O/R X-Pipe, and Dynomax mufflers - all Stainless except for the ceramic coated headers. I love the sound, and the long pipes on the Dyno's look sweet on my 98 Cobra.

Exact setup I have. I have really old l/t headers on my car, don't even know the brand, want to say MAC. The O/R H-Pipe followed by SpinTech catback. Absolutely awesome sounding, the previous owner did it. I'm so glad he did as I would have went Flowmaster, but I love the different sound. That and I can't believe I was introduced to something even nastier sounding on a Mustang than classic Flowmasters. However, there is a really loud range (louder than their usual loud) around 2,000-2,500 RPM, it sounds awesome WOT.

I have yet to hear any Cobra with any type of exhaust sound bad. The 4V's sing a sweet melody, and are all head turners.

I would highly suggest LT's, o/r x, and a borla stinger catback. Its the best sounding exhaust on a 4v i've ever heard in my entire life... probably the best sounding car i've ever heard... listen here...

i actually have a Dr. Gas o/r X pipe on it right now and it sounds great. if the Prochamber isn't to my liking, i'll probably have the Dr. Gas cut down to fit l/t's and put it back on...

thats O/R X, and stingers, not longtubes. i had that on my blue car, you can be assured that if a cop doesnt like loud exhaust theres no doubt your getting a ticket.

but throw longtubes into the mix too, and it goes from insanely loud,a nd sounding good to obnoxious. a cop that normally would not car about loud exhaust would ticket you just because how obnoxiously window shattering loud it is, it brings loud to a new level.

a O/R X and stingers cruising by somebody on a bike will already make them crash.

but + longtubes is just too damn loud, no longer sounding good. also have to remember exhaust sounds alot different on a vid than it does in person.

you want something even louder than stingers... M55... WAY WAY WAY WAY WAY loud.
