M55 is ford racing. its a 2.5" at the midpipe, then goes to 3" mufflers, and 3" tailpipes, and it is INSANELY loud. with it on a stock 03 with stock everything else its alot louder than stingers, with a O/R X. its SO damn loud, no other way to put it really.

louder than LM1's? Will that work at all with a gt? Will it make any difference in loss of low end TQ with a 3'' catback? its like 2 1/4'' midpipe to a 3'' catback i guess... will that actually effect the low end tq?

SHIT!!!! i really want those sooooooooo bad!!!! how is the SQ on those bad boys? are they tone def like the LM1's or do they actually have a tone. I cant really tell on a video.

Is there a way i can just buy the mufflers? may be a stupid question, are they chambered or straight through (more likely)?

no, cant buy just the mufflers.

the tone is great, sort of a chambered muffler "bark" combined with a X pipes rasp. sound so much better than LM1's, i hate LM1's, they are jsut loud, and sound like a dump truck. IMHO LM1's are the only exhaust for a 4V that doesnt sound great, and they actually sound like shit.

its a 1 peice complete catback, and has another X pipe aftert he mufflers.

its a badass system, no getting around it.

i dont understand why everyone wants their car to be so loud. all it does is attract attention that i bet you will regret most of the time. i only want my car to be loud if the engine has enough balls to back it up. and yes loudmouths suck ass. they sound like dump trucks.

I love the way my car sounds now... with the catted x and the violators (they're actually really really loud sound like MAC's but not as deep). I cant wait until i gut the cats and add the shorties!

im pickin up what your puttin down. ive seen people get noise ordinance and fines for how loud their car was. dont know about you but im not a fan of that kind of attention.

thats why you dont go too too loud. there will always be those cops that will write tickets if it sounds like it MIGHT have a aftermarket exhaust. stock GT's, and SRT4's have been ticketed around me. its alot in how you act on the street. drive like a idiot, and you're going to get every ticket possible.

around me its the imports that get the tickets. typically dont mess with domestics unless you give them a reason.

at the same time, it would be nice to be able to hit it in my suburban neighborhood, and not have friends call me that live over 2 miles away, and ask if i just got on it.
