borla side exhaust on a mach1/cobra?

Think a borla side exhaust system would sound good on the 4v engine?

the older roushs pulled it off pretty good too. It all opinion. It wouldn't look good with 2 tips, one tip and it also depends on what side skirt you use if it actually pulls it off.

Not sure how it will sound on the side but the Borla Stinger with high flow X pipe has to be the best sounding exhaust on a 4v hands down!

side exhaust isnt always good looking, however on a mach i think itd look good, only reason i dont like it, is because we have cutouts in the rear bumpers for exits and nothing there looks stupid, and i dont like putting the v6 bumper on the mach, i wouldnt go side exhaust, but if you want it, borla sounds ok on a 4v, ive always liked the stingers on the 2vs more then the 4v, but the catback style mufflers sound ok, not my first choice of mufflers but there not bad, flowmasters, bassani IMO

if youre gonna do the side exhaust, at least get the roush side skirts for it and a v6 bumper out back. i could see that looking pretty sick on a mach 1 but not a cobra

I already have side skirts....and to make the roush side skirts work i would have to fabricate the roush tips onto my current side exhaust....f that. Not worth the trouble.

there would be no fabrication, just cut off a lil bit of piping and weld on or bolt on(idk how they work) the roush tips. the side exhaust looks real tacky unless its done right

roush tips for the 99-04 are only the tip...where as is my borla system the tips are also part of the pipes, and the tip continues back about 6 inches before the piping begins. look at the pics in my sig to se what it currently looks like.
