Off the dyno!
So I now see we have a little SVT love comming our way! lol! Thanks mods! So I started this thread in the 2v forum so I guess I will update it in here. I got a dyno and tune on Wednesday by John Pappas over at Mustang Specialties.
First pullwith can tune I had 431 RWHP...Second pull after some tuning I had 435!?!?!? But no worries....Scott Beard (another local and very well know Mustang tuner) just happens to stop by...So know my car is being tag-teamed by 2 sick ass tuners. The problem with the second run was that we pegged the MAF. So now the MAFia is installed and some more tuning and I jump to a wopping 457 RWHP!!! (At this point I am jumping up and down like an anime school girl...lol!) They pull it once more and I get the same number. Oh, and I forgot what the torque was on the first 2 pulls but the third was 477 Ft Lbs. I should have been in the high 440's they said but do to the 31% humidity and the fact that Floirda has had some nasty weather the past few days, and I also has the wrong mixture of water wetter (too much regular water, not enough additive) it cost some HP. But once the weather gets cooler I should pic up some HP. My intake temp after the blower were 120's...Once I get it down to the 100-105 area I'll pic up that extra 10 HP. All and all I'm happy as a pig in shit and love this car to death!!! Next up is rims and springs!

I don't live in Florida, but I don't remember it getting much colder.
Also, congratulations on the numbers, that is some huge improvement. |

I have a H/E...Afco. I meant cooler in the fact that 2 days ago it was hot a HELL with mad humidity. There are only 2 seasons in Florida.....Summer and Hurricane. lol! I really need some help on the right springs to get....I hear our Cobras have a bad time with the HP we create and springs that allow us traction.....I want 1" in the rear and 1-1.5" in the front.....any input would be great!
Oh, and Chronic...I'm ordering those Stern Replicas as soon as I figure out what springs to go with. They are sick!

Nothing to the IRS at the moment. I plan on doing some better rims and suspension first. Then move onto the rear end. I am looking to buy one from a GT hopefully with 3.73's in it though. But I will probably buy something that can handle a good amount of HP.
Anyone on suggestions for springs???

i run FRPP C springs, not my first choice but i had them laying around so i decided to put them on, i hear the steeda competition springs are good but they are 300 dollars, FRPP makes some drag springs if thats what your going for, but they are really stiff
