all you would need is a 03/04 cobra lower intake, which is about $250 shipped. and keep in mind you can get a easy $400for your upper and lower intake from a 03/04 guy going turbo.

the 1.7s max out at under 500. i was considering doing this when i wanted to go forced, but the limitations are huge with that sucker. plus you have to reverse the alternator to make everything work for the cobra, or mach. not worth it for the small gains you would get, i would rather have a set of twins, or at least a centri.

eaton is 1.8, but its a roots, and makes more heat than a twin screw.

you can always add a intercooler to this pretty easy, all you would need is about $500 worth of used 03/04 cobra stuff that is pretty easy to find with all the people going turbo.

plus i dont see why anybody would be dumb enough to push over 500RWHP on a 99/01 cobra, or mach anyways, it would go boom fast.

i was referrning to when the motor went boom and then the owner forged the bottom end you would still be limited by that blower and would have to replace it. i think those sell from KB for high 6ks or something like that.

there is almost a turbo kit.

$4700 from KB for the non intercooled version, its about $500 to upgrade to intercooled on your own.

i cant get there sight to pull up right now, but when i priced them about 2 years ago they were up there. this was the full kit with BAP, maf, etc...

Kenne Bell no longer offers their superchargers in 1.7L for the 99/01-03/04 cobras and mach 1s. They have upgraded to the 2.1L.

Its not a waste of time for the average joe looking for some more power.
