Low End Power on 98 Cobra

Any recommended mods to help my low end power. I have a stock 98 Cobra and the power doesn't come on until about 3200 rpms.

4.10 gears, intake, tune, exhaust.

wake that sucked up. those 3.27 gears make that car a slug.

doesnt intake and exhaust typically move the power higher up in the RPM range

Even if this is completely true, that's still more power.

If you want to increase low end go buy a Kenne Bell Supercharger package. Until then buy 4.10 gears and then do all the bolt ons.

Only gears are really going to give you that low end power you're looking for without spending a boatload.

<-me.

I just recieved my emissions notice in the mail today, let's see how Illinois appreciates "more power."

At least they don't "sniff" cars, so I should be clear.

I put 4.10 gears in my '98 and it really did get the car going a lot faster.

dont hurt it one bit, there has been a few failures on 05+ GT's oil pump failures for people not cutting the bolt of whatnot right.
