Parts Installed

Well, I finally got my gears and drive shaft installed! I really cant notice a difference because i have to give it a break-in period. I heard you had to give it a 500 mile break in but the guy told me just 50 miles. I'll prolly atleast give it 100. I'm going to the track this weekend, Wish me luck ! I hope to get in the 12's !

Both shops that have done gears for me said it's not really the mileage that you put on new gears it's the amount of heat cycles...

+1

Get it up to full temp and then let it cool all the way down. That's a heat cycle. About 5 of those and you'll be fine for drag racing use.
