How much did you pay to have your gears installed?

I am getting the urge for 4.10's. That is definitely what I am getting but I am trying to determine installation cost by seeing what everyone has paid for theirs so I will know if I get a good quote or not. Thanks!

$0.00, I did it myself.

I wouldn't recommend it unless you have done it before and have the proper mics. I believe the going rate is around $250-$300 depending on where it is completed. I would recommend you go with all new bearings unless it is a low mileage car. Also may want to consider new axles and diff while you have it out. Just something to consider.

No point in getting estimations. It changes everywhere you go. Just go talk to a local shop.

I know that. I already called around here but no shop will give me info over the phone. I am really busy in the hours they are open so I have to rely on estimates.
