25000-26500 is going to get a a nice bolt on low mileage 03, or a higher (40-60K) with a twin screw.

its not a cobra, they havnt made a cobra since 04 technically, the new shelby GT500 is sort of a cobra, and that certainly is not a GT500.

thats a GT that somebody has put badging on. i can buy V6's all day long, and put cobra badges on them, but they still arent cobra's.

the dealership is feeding you a line of BS, if it was a cobra which is would have to be a GT500 they would probably be trying to sell it for $45-50K. salesmen dont know shit about what they're selling, they tell you what they know you want to hear.
