Alright guys i kno everyone on here says MGW all the way. but im curious as to why most the people around here have never even heard of MGW and think pro 5.0 is the only answer so im just looking for some facts here if anyone has any.

mgw ftw.
no specific reason as ive never tryed anything else. but from my experience i listened to everyone on here.. and wow. it REALLY makes a huge difference in normal driving and racing. you would not beleive how incredibly close the gears are and how SIMPLE it is to make it through all five gears without ever missing the gear. my only issue now is that i try to shift faster than my foot puts the clutch down. but i think i have that worked out now. but as far as finding the gears, since the mgw ive never gotten lost in shifting . if you think u have problems gettin into third. look no farther than mgw my brother!

I have a Pro 5.0 and really like it, but can only compare it to stock. I bought the car with a Pro 5.0.
I really don't think you can go wrong with any of the big names, can you? If you're looking to give your transmission the beating of the lifetime at the track, get a short-throw. I love it for street and strip. |

MGW > everything else. nothing compares, its night and day difference.
pro 5.0 is the worst shifter ive ever used, i would honestly take a stock shifter first.

most people have never heard of MGW because they have no distributors, so you cant find it on a mail order company of any sort, and they cost a little more.
its typically only the cobra owners that want simply the best, and dont mind coming off the extra $$ for the best you can get.

i was thinking of trading in my tri-ax for one, when i ordered my tri-ax for my 94 v6 i loved it, and i love the one in my mach, i saw an ad for the mgw but i never heard anything about it so i ordered another triax for my mach, if i wouldve known how good the mgw was i wouldve ordered that, its worth having or switching to

i like both. i currently have the pro 50 in the car. i have my mgw in my room. i had trouble at first hitting 2-3 shift with mgw. now have pro 50 and have no problems. but thats after 3 yrs daily dirving a clutch. so maybe i need to readjust and retry the mgw. but i ahev no complaints about pro50. i like it. but the ability to adjust the mgw is priceless. true precision in their product. great quality and design over all others. (t5/t45 trans for both shifters)
