i was looking at stangnet.com, they have a post about needing c/c plates if you want to lower the 99/01 cobras, is it true? h&r lowering springs p/n 51659

You dont NEED them, but its a good idea if you want the best alignment you can get. i've been running around since i lowered mine in january without C/C plates and the only problem i've come across is some serious tire wear

Do yourself a favor get them. They're not exspensive. I highly reccomend Maximum Motorsports.
