Mass air meter


I have a 97 cobra and was wondering what a mass air meter does and what would be a good one to choose and other necessary modifications id need with it

Aha, I was just about to post this but was finding a good thread for it. I talked to one of the Mach 1 owners here (I forget his username) and he likes C&L.

I'm about to get a dyno tune but want to grab the package.

Would I be better off getting the SCT MAF and the C&L TrueFlow Inlet Tube or just grab the entire C&L package for my Cobra:

96-98 MASS AIR METER KIT, 80MM, WITH INLET TUBE, COBRA MUSTANG
