Well, its simple really. The Cobra driveshaft is shorter than the GTs because the Cobra uses a T56, which is longer than the T45 used in the GTs. The Cobra driveshaft wont work in the GT if you use the T45, because it will be too short. If you keep the solid axle in the GT, and want to use the T56 out of the Cobra, the driveshaft should work. Plus or minus some modifications to make it fit properly.

Putting a solid axle in a Cobra requires some modification to the driveshaft to make it all fit properly.

Perfectly worded Goblin! I'm drunk right now and totally understand...haha. I will be using the T56 so I guess that means I'll use my Cobra DS and then the GT rear end. Now that the Mech. side is pretty good.
Now to the fuel... All I need are the injectors and fuel pumps??
(And thanks everyone for the help thus far...lots of good knowledge on this thread!)

You'll need the entire fuel system and its wiring from the Cobra. Yes, that includes the fuel tank.
