supercharger info needed

Okay i'm saving to get a supercharger but the question is which one.

im completely unsure of which brand to get. ive heard procharger is good for stangs and of course vortech.. im lookin for low boost, i dont want to ruin my motor by supercharging it. what all do i need to get . this procharger magazine i got says this guy has an 03 mach with stock motor, x pipe and 3.73 gear with a intercooled p-1sc and ran a 11.63 @120 on 8psi pump gas

that sounds pretty good. lol but procharger is much more expensive than vortech.. really i dont know what im talking about im looking for some real information and advice!!

it really depends, with the procharger you have a little more room to play with if you plan on forging it down the road. but if not then you should just go with the vortech and save the rest of the cash. and if you plan on forging later i suggest the f1 unit.

this looks about the same price

Vortech Engineering: 2003-2004 Mustang Mach 1 4.6L V-2 SQ SC-Trim Standard System

the p-1sc is $4999

the vortech is air to liquid coold and the procharger seems to be air to air

I'd also take a good look at the kits - my understanding is that some of them will work with the shaker hood, but some of them won't... of course, maybe I'm thinking of CAIs?

Anywho, something to check

Thats the right Vortech kit. You just have to get a tune put on your X3 for the blower setup.
