Oh please dont ask that question! Hopefully this thread doesnt explode with a bunch of contraversy. Both COP and CP work, and both work good. "Better" is a poop shoot argument, and there really isnt any disadvantages or advantages.

Im sure this is going to turn into a pissing contest, it always does with this subject.

Sorry, my question wasn't intended as a "tell me this iz betr so I no how to uprad my stang!"

I'm just curious as to the advantages/disadvantages of COP versus Coilpack.

My inferences is that COP will give a slightly "cleaner spark", as you don't have near the resistance in 2" wires that you do in 2' wires, and I'm guessing allows for higher rpm, as the smaller coils should recharge faster, and only have to fire once for every 4 fires of a coil pack (and 8 of a regular coil). Obvious disadvantages to me would be the expense, especially if you ever wanted to upgrade, and I would assume that one of 8 coils fails more often than 1 of 2 coils.

Am I in the ballpark?
