I bought the tint because the nightshades are all black. I don't like them being all black. With the tint you still have red. I ordered light and dark so whatever one I don't use someone can have for the shipping

i like the night shades better but if you get pulled over for it you can get rid of the tint, the other stuff is going to look like crap if taken off

I really highly doubt anyone telling you to take tint off of your tails.

I think tinting the tails is okay for a select few colors and styles of cars. I never found it attractive on white. Weems car comes to mind for being a white/back Mach 1 and obviously with the black headlights from Ford. Does he have tinted rear? Maybe that would change my mind. Usually I'm a fan of the red.

However in Doc's case, red, or dark shadow grey, or even black then tinting looks great.

What brand? The Rvinyl stuff is top notch and I think it would take a scotch brite pad to scratch mine up.

I used rvinyl. And I probally couldve scratched it with a hand if I rubbed hard enough. The light tint looked like it wasnt even there and the dark was alright but still really light for being called "dark" maybe I got a crappy batch but the tail tint I got was horrible. Horrible

maybe I just got some bad sets. Yours looks amazing. The dark they gave me was less then 35% tint by my comparison and yours looks alot darker then that. Maybe I'll give another set a try. It was only like twenty something anyway. Eh I'll order some more. Mine seriousaly scratched with a semi hard tool a soft one. And a extremely soft microfiber towel lol. But whatever. I'll let you know how it goes
