best/loudest cobra xhaust setup

well i already ordered a Flowmaster American thunder catback and a BBK catalytic x-pipe but that can always be changed later....so what setups might possibly be louder and sound better than what i got coming from SummitRacing....it's for a stock '03 cobra

i hate to say it but i really dont like SLP's loudmouth kit so that's already a no-go

a good tool to check out is youtube.. just try searching cobra exhaust or mustang exhaust or whatever and you'll find tons of results with tons of combinations.. your car will sound different than a gt though since it is 4v, you could probably also search mach 1 exhaust since they're also 4v.. i havent heard a bad cobra exhaust yet lol

good point.. the best, by far, way is to check it out in person.. like at local car shows and such.. no matter how good the camera is, it will never sound the same.. and even if the camera is amazing, the speakers playing its sound may suck lol.. lot of factors.. sound is also very dependent on the ear of the listener.. some may prefer straight through mufflers while others prefer chambered

As far as loud, i think the M55 catback and the SLP LMI's are the loudest. but best sound in my opinion are bassani's followed by the borla stingers

prochamber and stingers is amazing either that or bassani street comp the prochamber is mildly quieter then the x or h but sounds amazing. I have a prochamber and stingers. Its a costly setup but sounds amazing. And just about anything will be louder then a catted x and the flow catback. The catbac is really quiet that your getting. Your car isn't going to be that loud. Especially inside the car

Search around for SpinTech, mine and the few others I've heard are ridiculously loud and still sound great.

If you want loud and nasty but still a good sound. LT's, Mac Pro Chamber, and Mac Pro dumps. thats what I got on my Mach and it is very nice and loud.

Mac O/R X and Mac Pro dumps Untuned. When it was automatic

LT's, Prochamber and Mac Pro Dumps. After the Manual swap

i would recommend a large diameter h-pipe, flowmaster 2 chamber 40 series, and 3 inch diameter tailpipes.

oh yeah that reminds me. i called a couple exhaust shops to get quotes on 3 inch tailpipes for my car. one guy told me that he thinks the 3 inch pipes might not fit because of the IRS.

do any of u know anything about this?

Sounds good. For my money on a 4v a full mac exhaust is the meanest, but the borla stingers are the sexiest. Plate says missouri. Where are u from in missouri and I assume you are in the Navy since your location says VA beach.

When I get enough time to install my Lt's and Prochamber, I will make a clip of it. I have a video camera I just don't know how to use it.

Yeah, I used to have flows. They're actually pretty loud, they sounded alright, but there was no comparasion between them and the stingers.
