Alright guys I am starting my turbo build. Here are the specs :

Single gt35r dbb turbo a/r : compressor .70 : exhaust 1.06 (its the biggest gt35r you can get in t3/t4 style

Tial wastegate 4psi spring

hks bov

sct prp with xcal II

Aem wideband ? where do put the sensor at in the down pipe about 36 "is from turbo?

thats all I have now

Got a few ?s

could I get away with a 255 walbro fuel pump w/ a-boost-pump an 60lb siemens injectors ,for about 550whp ?

Maf options can I go blow threw or pull , which one is better?

exhaust size?

Where do you guys drain the turbo oil pan?

And where do you guys get the feed from

Goal is to have a car that will put 420-450 at the wheels with a stock block and internals is it a good goal with in reach with a dd?

For the car Its a 98 cobra convertable

Being that you already have the parts, I think you should stop asking about power, and start asking what mods you need to keep everything in balance with what you're already going to have.

When you're done, dyno it, and tell us what it ends up making. Here's some numbers for you, though

Figure 305 crank hp stock, at 6-7 psi with a turbo running 80% efficiency will get you 427 crank hp (~370rwhp). Bump that up to 12-14 psi, and you're looking at 549 crank hp (~480 rwhp).

I'd build it conservatively at first, you can always crank up the boost later; much better to have a running 400hp car than a broken 500hp car.

nice starting off first of all man..buying some parts..second you need to start getting all the hot parts like headers and tubing from and to your turbo..third get some upgraded fuel rail lines and a good fuel pump..i would go twin cobra pumps..4th get a very good intercooler and piping..5th of course get all parts installed right the first time..and then boom get a tune and dyno...but remember keep it below 10 psi or you will be rebuilding that motor soon..after all this give it like 6 months or whenever the motor goes out and get your heads ported and polished with some custom boost cams..and get your blocked bored .020 over and forged pistons rods beams and get the compression around 9.3:1..after you did that..boost up to 21 psi on a race tune and you will see 750+ horses easy..

First I'd suggest lowering the compression in the motor if you havn't already. DO NOT skimp on the fuel system, you don't want to starve the motor of fuel. If you're using the OEM ECU, you're fine with the HP#'s you're looking for. The exhaust depends on the headers, and you didn't say what size or type headers you have. I would go with the biggest downpipe possible, unless it is going to be street legal. If its street legal, stay with 3 or 2.5 all the way back. I draw the oil from the bottom front of the pan so its already filtered. This is on a wet sump system. Hope some of this helps
