Wheel Hoppin'

Hey guys, ony other Mach 1 owners have this problem?? My car was used as a SCCA track car and the 4 Way (correct me if im wrong) struts were removed. The strut that goes from the axle tube to the frame. Would that be a BIG factor in my wheel hop?? I know if supposed to help stabilize the axle from side to side movement, but what else could I do to help out??

+1 Or get some good upper and lower control arms and good shocks and you won't need the quads anymore.

My cure for wheel hop was a set of bilsteins, HPM Megabytes adj upper and lower, and Wider and better tires.

I'd say get bilsteins and aftermarket lowers, but honestly aftermarket upper control arms on the Mustang 4-link rear are pretty worthless.

Your best bet for getting rid of wheel hop will be to convert to a torque-arm rear suspension, but then you're talking probably $1k just in the rear.

A lot of things will help, but better tires is a good place to start
