potential problems for an 01 cobra

yea its all ricers, camaros, and trans ams here. my neighbor in my apartment does have a pretty nice ls1 firebird. but besides that its all imports.nand then theres a couple of kids with corvettes..

I was stuck on 99/01 cobra, bullitt, or LS1 and also get a bike or just get a vette and i decided on my cobra. I wish i would have gotten something else whether it be an fbod or mach.

the cobra your talking about getting seems like a decent deal . especially if the rest of the car checks out okay. really i think its probably a mental thing having a cobra. its just the name. there isnt a significant enough difference to say cobra or mach is better than the other. it boils down to personal preference. i do think the mach looks better. and it has a solid axle, better stock gear, 10.1:1 compression and the cobras at i think 9.85:1 or something like that. then theres 305hp/320 mach and 320hp/317 cobra its just so close. idk man. if the car turns out good after the new motor you cant beat that. a bran new motor with zero miles and a body with low miles too. as long as the tranny is in good shape it sounds like a good start for sure. definatly look around dont jump the gun by any means.

Yeah just size up the cars and get what you can relate better with.

As for the cars around here...nothing but Chevy this and Pontiac that. There's a lot of muscle here in my town, a few ricers who think they're cool but no one pays attention to. Mustangs are few and far between around me, but always manage to kick ass even though we're outnumbered lol.

Theres lots of rice everywhere you go but theres always one that will give you a good run atleast on the highway. cant beat muscle at a light
