Trans. Cooler

Are the Mushimoto trans. coolers more efficient in dissipating heat than our stock units? Since were on the subject, what benefit would i get from swapping out the radiator as well? Are the stock radiators just good enough?

Tranny cooler is worth the swap, not sure about the Mushimoto but getting a better on is definatly worth it. The radiator does just fine. I haven't seen too many late model mustangs ever swap out the radiator unless they are track monsters.

Yea. the manuals don't build up heat like the auto's do. The manual is like you rear end, its gears and synchros, not much in the way of extreme heat. The auto has bands and clutchs and valves, and the fluid is under pressure, lot more friction in the auto and alot more potential for extreme heat.
