walmart has a kit for like 20 and its in a chrome pakage. I used it and my wifes car was ten time worse. so bad they projected light about 20 feet ahead. I tried it and it works great. they look damn near new. Clearview I think the name was.

im almost scared to waste the money again when i can just get them new for cheap, save the labor and sweat and have a true quality headlight with it being new. thanks for the info though.

just get a buffer like you use to buff the car, take the head lights out and use some wax on the outside and inside of the lens and buff it, it will work wonders, then reseal the lights realyl well to make sure no more condensation gets in them like it look like is happening for you, if you have a buffer and wax this doesnt cost anything, its not quite as good as the headlight sanding kit and you have to be careful not to mess the light up but it does work as that is what i did on my 94 v6

or just buy some nice smoked lights

and by the way i love the comment you made about bolting in some diamond plate in the floor and hitting the NOS and having it fall out, that movie is funny as hell, me and saleenwolf were just joking about that the other week, computer says danger to manifold and the floor falls out, i fell for that when i was a kid and knew nothing about cars lol

well since i still have the kit i bought.. do you guys think it would be worth a second sanding proccess? and should i sand pretty hard or just regular? im bored here at the new apartment so i figured maybe a second try with the kit wouldnt hurt. worst case if it doesnt help im still getting new ones

well i tryed the other headlight.. zero success . if i look upclose it looks like a million tiny scratches. i used the sandpaper according to directions i followed them step by step i know i did it ' right ' . after polishing the lens the outside of the headlight feels like bran new perfectly smooth and as clear as muddy water. i give up im not taking the thing apart and working on the inside ill never get it sealed back right so fk it im just buying new ones. game over.
