i need a motor
well weds night i was headed to hobbs to go see my lil girls. it started raining really bad and all of a sudden my motor locked up. i got it into the parking lot and pulled all the plugs and nothing. it wont turn over at all. it didnt make any noise, no knocking, nothing. any ideas? if no one has any idea's shoot me any info on a motor. cause i'm not havin any luck finding one.

It doesn't crank or anything? usualy it will give signs that it is going out and not just die and lock up. Locking up is alot of metal on metal, that makes noise. What does it do when you turn the key?

it never made any noises, just shut down. it wont even turn with a wrench on the crank. you try the key and it just clicks like a bad starter.

same thing happend to my buddy in his cobra. had to get a whole new motor. you didnt happen to look at the oil pressure did you?

it was right in the middle where it always was. there was absolutly nothing out of the ordinary. thats why im so confused. i was told it could have hydrolocked but there is no water in the hole. none in the intake tract and none in the cylinders that i could see.

cjponyparts.com sells fresh crate motors, everything from a mach 1 motor to a ford GT motor, they also have a large salvage yard that they can either get alot of parts from or have already so chances are they have what your looking for, they usally are a little expensive thu but give them a call or email and they can prob get you what you need
