Eaton M112
Hey guys....question about this.
#1 - Can I put an 03/04 Eaton on my 01 Cobra? #2 - If so what is involved?/What else will I need? #3 - What power would I make? Like 400? A little less maybe???? |

Anything will work if you throw enough cash at it. But honestly I would consider other options. The Eaton M112 is not an efficiant blower at all compared to the other choices out there. The ONLY positive that I can think of is that you can find one for dirt cheap. In my opinion, if you are going to go through the effort of doing F/I than save up the extra cash and get either a twin screw or some type of centri blower. Even if you are on the stock bottom end on your car you can still make effeciant AND safe power other ways. And than later on if you decide to go with a stronger rotating assembly than you have the setup already to make major power.
Here's a thread for you to go over. And yes 2v to 4v is apples to oranges kind of, but many of the points made by white99 and the others is valid for your question 03-04 Cobra Eaton Supercharger on your 2V

You might put down as much as a stock termi but you won't be able to up the boost like they can because of the high compression pistons cast pistons in your car. But you need a better fuel system, i.e. pump, and injectors. then the manifold, rails, etc. etc. The only way that swap is realy worth it is if you can get all the components for dirt cheap. And it can be hard to get the lower manifold. Getting an aftermarket S/C is almost always the better deal.

yes you can but its quite a project and when its said and done its a tad expensive. Those blowers kinds suck. But there are a load of threads posted about this and even a sticky I beleive. Along with one a posted awhile back. Its very possible. Lower intake manifold is one big thing. All supercharger odds and ends. You'll basically be shooting 8 psi of hot air. But its always neat to see this done

i was reading on one of those swaps that the fuel rail is the same between the 01 and 03-04 but you still need to change out the injectors to 39 pounds, you have to do some grinding of some knock sensors in the valley and it's a lot of work. it is actually better to go with a kenne bell unless you can get all the stuff needed for under 1000. it starts to add up quick with all the wiring and extra stuff you need to make it work
