i swear, i think that there should be a new rule on this forum......
no more asking "if i do this and that to my car will it keep up with a car that has that and this done to it" that should be a bannworthy question

I could take stock lightnings in the 1/8 with my 98GT when I was 9.1 that was with bolt-ons.. If you can get down too 8.8 in your GT then you will take stock lightnings.. With spray you will walk him.. In my 98 it came down to which driver weighed less I think, I was getting beat by inches one night by a red lightning and I went and took a shit and gave my girl my leather jacket to wear and I beat him by inches in the next 2 races.. True story..
