03/04 Cobra Supercharger


i know there have been threads like this before but i couldnt find them. what all would i need to do to put an 03/04 cobra eaton supercharger on my 99 cobra?

injectors, heat exchanger, brackets ??, idler pully (whatever it's called), lots more stuff i don't know about

s/c, lower intake manifold, heat exchanger, injectors probally, probally MAF, Plenum,TB maybe, different intake i think. and tap into the oil lines i think. i just found a kit to do this on ebay, im gonna throw one on, It has everything except the lower intake and its 999 bills

You don't tap the oil lines, the eaton is self contained. And you need a pump or pumps, and everthing from the intake port on the heads up.

it would cost more to do this and you would make less power than if you were to put a blower on your car that is meant for your car.

Buuut it depends on how cheap you can get the components for. Everyone is quick to say its not worth it but if you can get it all cheap and you don't wanna build the motor it can actualy be worth it. Just a thought, and something to look at. I won't tell you its not worth it till you say how much it all cost. then someone can say its a waste or its worth the trouble.

i gotcha, i was just asking because like mustangracr94 said, there is a kit with everything included on ebay for only 999. so i just wasnt sure how that would be more expensive..

is that mani, blower, heat exchanger, and intake tube? if so then I would hop the fence and say it's probably kinda worth it

the main reason being you need a fuel upgrade no matter what and a good tune no matter what.

yea i planned on getting a dyno tune soon anyways but i could hold off on the tune until after the sc build. its the sc, tb and plenum, maf, fuel injectors, heat exchanger, and lines for heat exchanger

What about the lower manifold? you need that and it is very hard/expensive to get
