There is a guy on svtperformance who had an 01 cobra and he made a custom wing for his car. I was debating making one myself and I really got inspired watching musclecar on spike the other night.

They used art foam and cheese grater to make some fender flares for the 67 fastback I was thinking of putting the same concept torward making a wing similar to the one this guy made.

Once i got the foam into the shape that i wanted all i would have to do is lay the fiberglass on top of the foam wrapped in tin foil. if anyone has anymore tips or a website as a reference it would help.

I don't know how this will turn out but it will be a lot better then paying 550 for a 03-04 wing because in my opinion all other wings look like crap

yea that's my thoughts and i figure if it turns out good enough i could make some money off of it if enough people liked it and i got it patented and sold it to a company to make or i would just keep it custom 1 off

or you could get ahold of a 03 cobra wing n borrow it n make a mold of it n do it that way. but IMO its too much work... lol

it will be a lot of work but i think it will be well worth the outcome. the 03-04 cobra wing just stops doesn't really flow with the body lines

I say make your own but don't worry about a patent. Companies don't respect individuals w/ patents anymore. They know they can take your idea and you won't have the money to afford a long court battle.

Just remember corporations are exempt from the law.....

Corporations allow a bunch of rich greedy people to create a fictional "person" according to US law.

Immoral and illegal business practices are then used to create a nice profit which goes directly to the rich greedy people.

When someone finds out and its lawsuit time, only the fictional "person" can be sued. This illegally earned money is then used to fund a massive professional defense which usually will win them the case by bankrupting the suing party.

Should they still lose, this fictional person gets fined and the money comes from areas used to pay lower class people and they will get laid off or let go. This will not impact the rich and greedy people. Their income will stay the same if not increase.

If it gets any major media attention the rich greedy peoples' front man aka the CEO will get "let go" which means he collects a few years pay as a "severance". The rich greedy people then sit back in the shadows and appoint a new public facing puppet in case anything else illegal gets discovered.

Hopefully my jaded sarcasm didnt show too much....
