just pull the wires off the coil/plug and match it up to the new one that's the same length.
I love ngk plugs.. i've ran them in my camaro, 240sx.. everything. 1.50 copper cheapo ngk's.

agreed, NGKs ftw.
I've seen several dyno comparisons of NGKs versus a bunch of other plugs, including fancy-pants multi-electrode plugs. All the plugs will be within 1 or 2 hp, and all 3-5 hp down on the stock NGKs. Whatever you do, do NOT get Bosch mult-electrode plugs. Waste of money, and the electrodes are prone to breaking off. For wires, I'm a fan of Sumitomo wires (they're the stock wires on Toyotas, and consistently go for over 150k miles), but I've never seen 'em available as an aftermarket wire for anything else. So I usually go with NGK or Denso wires. sparkplugs.com should have everything you need.

I've used Bosch Platinums in the Gt with no problem at all. I'm currently running the Iridium plugs in the mach and they seem to be working fine. I currently have a friend who gives me the plugs for about a dollar

You don't have spark plug wires on your 04 Mach.

You have coils directly on each spark plug. Coil On Plug. COP. So 8 coils, 8 plugs, and electrical wires running to each COP. All you can change are the coils and plugs, but if there is nothing wrong with the coil, there's no need to change it. And most people will tell you that the stock coil is the best set-up. No point in going aftermarket really. |
