IRS to Solid
I need to know every single part that is neede to convert my irs to a solid rear axle, either stock gt or aftermarket axle. Also, for anyone who knows, How long does this process take, is it a project that a mildly knowledgeable person can do, and an estimate on cost?
Also, How will it hold up to a mild bolt-on cobra with 4.10 and DRs? Will i be replacing shit on it to?

you will need upper/lower control arms, rear springs/shocks, cobra brake bracket kit. it is better to use a 99-04 gt housing because they are 3/4 in longer on each side. if you use aftermarket control arms you dont need the quad shocks. i didnt put the abs sensors back in...and i have no brake light on. i bought all new stuff and i have about 2000-2100 into the swap. i used FMS axle housing and internals(31 spline) and steeda suspension components then cheap monroe rear shocks. that should be plenty stong unless you are making gobbs of power then you might want to do a 9in.
