T-56 Reverse noise/clunk
Ok so reverse in my termi sounds a little messed up. When I back up it makes this noise kind of like a clunking but it sounds like its coming from the front of the car, almost like its in the suspension. But I'm still guessing its a trans. problem It only does it in reverse, all forward gears are smooth. It doesn't matter if I'm turning or just backing up straight. Anyone got any ideas?

is it a repeating clunking sound while youre backing up?

prob just the driveshaft has a little play in reverse.. same prob.. nothin to worry

my car clunks after putting her in reverse and letting the clutch engage but I doubt thats the same thing youre having.
open your doors while backing up and you should be able to better hear where the sound's coming from. then let us know.
