Ive got Hawks on my Cobra and I digg'em. Hey what kind of rims do you have? Brand, size, all that stuff. I was lookin over your pictures and they re-ignited my liking for black rims on a black car.

The Hawks are nice, as are Brembo's. I have used both in the past. What kind of pad are you looking for? You want to upgrade, or go with factory replacements?

Wrong, actually if you get a ceramic pad they do not throw out any dust.

ceramic squeaks like hell every time you stop, i have a few friends who are into the evo scene and they all carry around this spray for the pads that quiets down the pads...but if you don't mind the squeaking then go for it

Don't know about Steeda - Had Hawk = squeak like a freaking school bus - Got Brembos on my TLS - more of a grind until they heat up - both really bad with dust. Put the motorcraft back on = don't stop as good but quiet for the most part.

Really I run ceramic pads on all of my vehicles except my tow rig, and I have no dust problems, and no sqeaking problems. Maybe your buddy installed them incorrectly, or bought cheap pads.

Then again, our Mustangs are alot different than Evo's so just because they have problems, doesn't mean that any of us will. I highly reccommend the ceramic pads if keeping your wheels clean is a priority.

These are on my Mach right now, check them out.

i've never known anyone with them on anything other than an evo, i just know the three guys that have the issues; but if you say that it doesn't carry over to other vehicles then i'll take your word for it

I'm not saying that it doesn't carry over, what I'm saying is lets compare apples to apples here. It very well may have they same problem as your friend's Evo had, but then it may not. I personally have not had an issue with mine. I came on a little harsh, and I'm sorry for that, I just didn't want Justine to get the wrong idea about these pads. I wouldn't recommend them if they weren't a good product that I myself, or someone that I know hasn't tried them, and gave them a thorough test.

Hawk, Steeda just repackages Hawks and charges a premium. Brembo do tend to squeak I know because I have the 00R Setup on my 03 Cobra. Hawk HPS or Ceramic. Let me know if you need a set as I carry the line.
