With the quality issue that has come up I don't think too many people will be buying them. You can thank Ford for being phucking morons for not checking tolerances before shipment.

More than 5 motors Dating back from February have had the crank pulley sheer off the crank sensor on the cover plate. The tolerance is so bad some motors you couldn't even turn over by hand. The crappy part about it is that Ford doesn't want to warranty it. Here is a thread from SVTP on a few guys and pics.

SVTPerformance

There is another thread on modularfords about it as well.

Just wanted to update for those that are interested.

My buddy has gone round and round with FRPP. There are currently 9 people threatening to go with a class action law suit.

That's serious business. After feeling like they needed to do something quick, FRPP gave my friend a few options but not very many of them where going to be quick or cheap (mainly the shipping of the motor back) which is why he went with the Aluminator in the first place.

FRPP told him that if he could fix the motor on his own (which he did) and send them an invoice to compensate for his time they would take care of it. So he sent them an invoice for $1,000 with a note from his lawyer. Still waiting to hear back from them...Discuss...
