They sell them for the Mach's... should only require a little fabrication... But I'm just guessing.

Unless you are planning on making huge power, i.e. 700+whp, a D1 would be fine. An F1 Procharger is a bad mofo.

well i think i wanted the F1 because i was looking at a KB, but they only make a little 2.1L for the 01s and my goal is to hit mid 10s. I have heard that the F1 spools up similar to a kb. well more so than the D1 does

An F1 is the shizknit. That's what I want to eventually get once I have the money to afford all the needed mods... I hear they can produce over 30#'s of boost at max!

You can buy a D1 then upgrade the unit to a F1A. However, you'd have to buy a seperate unit. You can't send in a D1 and have it upgraded. I bought the F1A as a swap for my D1 head unit and cash.

if i bought a P1SC kit for an 01 cobra could i just buy the F1 unit later and bolt it on. will that work? i found a used P1SC kit pretty cheap. just wanna make sure ill be able to use the kit for a little while before i get my motor done. then install motor and F1 at the same time.

I'm not 100% sure. I do know that you can swap the head unit from the D1 to F1 with no problem. You will definitely want to upgrade your bypass valve as well.

you do not need an f1 to see 10s.. they have eaton 03 cobra's that do it still on the irs.. shit you can do a built motor and 150 shot and do that if you have a solid axle and the most needed driver mod. and a d1 is good for i think 25 pounds of boost..i have a friend with a 03 cobra just full exhaust(stock rear and stock gears),2.3 whipple(only makeing 593/572) and ran a 10.8 on 17in drags.. so you dont need to spend all that money on a f1 unless you just want to say you have 1.. built motor,d1, heads, some mph cams, good suspension, and if you can drive you can make it there and you can put down more than 550hp.. more like a lil over 600 depending on how much boost you want to run..

a KB 2.1 is more then enough to make it to the mid 10s, and you can just change the lower intake manifold and put on the big Kenne bell for the 03/04s cant you
