would it be better to get the catback lm1 or just the weld in mufflers? Is there any advantage to either?

The cat back will give you mandrel bent 2 1/2" tubing and usualy stainless depending on company, whereas the stock is 2 1/4" crush and crinkle bent aluminized piping. You will gain better sound and better flow, IMO there is no choice it's cat back or keep saving til you can do the cat back. There are zero pro's to weld ins besides price and that brings me back to saving for the catback. just my .02

well we went with the lm1's and i dont know why yall say yall dont like them, they can be loud, but at idle they are not obnoxious at all, they are perfect i love them

Because they dont.... everyone has their own preference in sound, some people like the raspy sound and some people like the deep rumble with no rasp. My fav are Borla, MAC, and magnapacks, im going with MAC with a O/R X for my next set up.
