OK, so heres the deal. the previous owner put a new serpentine belt on my cobra just a little while before i bought it, ive owned it for about 2 months. he told me that after a while it started to chirp, he had replaced the belt multiple times and replaced the tensioner pully eventually. i drove it for those 2 months with no issues until it got humid and wet and i just figured that it was just the humidity causing the chirp. well i got curious because it never went away so i changed the belt and inspected the pulleys, the belt still looked great but the new belt didnt chirp so i just left the old one off. the tensioner pully was a lil off like it was a bearing problem.

im not sure im no good at this kind of thing. i was just wondering if anyone knew what could cause the chirp if its not the belt. and if it is the pulley, what caused it to "go out" so fast? and this wasnt just your regular belt chirping, this was BAD
