before you guys say 'run him and find out" i would like to know your guys opinion on the outcome, he has a gt40 on a 1jz tuned to 470hp, and my 03 termi has 488hp, i think this is a drivers race, and this dude is a friend of mine, so this is just the beginning

Mk IIIs are heavy cars, but a 1JZ can be a very scary motor, and I don't know that it'd be as heavy as a Terminator.

I'm gonna agree with you about it being a driver's race, I'd give him the edge on a roll and you the edge on a dig, just due to the differing natures of boost involved.

i think he might get you...the termis are heavy and you dont have much more power than him. i would love to hear you beat him but...power to weight ratio, and im sure he can just turn up his boost with the turn of a dial...good luck

as long as he isnt lying about his numbers, like alot of people with those cars, plus supras are dyno queens, I say run him you will win, theres alot of variables. but i say you can win, termis also have a nasty top end over 100 especially

i talked to my friend 2day, he said at one point when they were dynoing the car it made 470, but due to the injectors being maxed out thus running lean, so they had to lower the boost to 22lbs making 435hp, the car used to be his, now it belongs to a friend

id place the money on the termi, but with roll racing someone is always going to be at a disadvantage, I know how much my car sucks a 40 in 2nd my rpms are low and way out of the powerband, go from a dig and hop he cant hook, but either way id put money on the termi no prob

i gotta wait till fri to run him, one thing i heard is that he beat a 460hp 11 sec 01 gt wish i could add a 75 shot to take care of the supra and this 05 turbo gto with 550 rwhp, that wants to run too, but i am not ready for him yet

dont worry about the supra, you can take him, i doubt a 400 horse supra runs faster then 11s, its prob all talk, or the kid couldnt drive the gt

1jz's are torqueless wonders. a friend of mine has a 90 with a 1j swapone the one you need to worry about is the 2jz and 7m's

Sounds like a drivers race. from a dig you should have a fairly large lead but be aware that around 80mph he will be knocking at your door maybe even before that. anything decently turbod will probably be a pain in the ass. they never start out fast but when that turbo kicks in thats when you find out whats going to happen in the race. goodluck and let us know if the toyota gets you or not

40-45 in 2nd gear in my car is perfect for a rolling race. i have 3.73's with a 26 in tall tire. 2nd gear @ 40 should be around 3000-3500 rpm, that should be perfect in the power band
