idler


if my friend gets a 2.8 upper pulley for his 04 cobra, does he need to change the idler

He doesn't have to. I would suggest buying a snub idler to increase his belt wrap. If not he'll probably have a lot of belt slip.

As mentioned above he does not need to change his idlers, but it would be a good idea. It would also be a good idea to get the aux. idler as mentioned. Let me know and I can help you out.
