my clutch pretty much said F___ You this morning

i thought i was gonna be late for work this morning. so i was using alot of throttle on the way to work as soon as i got off my street. she did good for about a mile and a half and then she started slipping under heavy throttle. i can still accelerate normal but it just really PISSES me off. i finally did some real mods and now i cant even use it.

a coworker told me it might've happened cuz the clutch was cold and i was using alot of throttle that soon after starting the car. but i doubt it though. i guess ill see for sure after i drive her later on.

this might be a blessing in disguise cuz i need to stay out of the street racing scene cuz if i get caught again, they'll crush my car for sure. ill still go out to the car meets with the prelude and go watch the races but i dont need to be racing myself. then again, i know myself and i know there will be some young kid in a civic challenging me to race the prelude so theres no way i can sit here and say that i WONT street race anymore.

if I race on the road, its random, I dont go to meets or anything, and if you wanna see a bad clutch, look up my post when I did my clutch, it was the worst Ive ever seen

I don't know the legalities here and all since we're awaiting our autorized vendor forum, but we do that for $150 less.

yeah i was in jail overnight and that shit sucked. luckily i was only an hour late for work. i told them i overslept.

I have a pro-motion modified spec stage 3+ and it is awesome so far. Lighter pedal than stock and is really smooth. I also found out when I had my stocker replaced that I had twisted my 10 spline input shaft so replaced that with a 26 spline, TOB sleeve, and FRPP TOB. Shifts awesome now.

Careful out there street racing man, wouldn't want to see another Cobra hit the crusher or get banged up.

Nope, stock is 10 spline. They SHOULD have come with a 26 spline. lol i will post up a pic of my twisted 10 spline when I get a chance.

i got mine from a clutch shop for 140, flywheel redone for 30, and installed for 300.

Not too shabby considering they want that just for the clutch....

That clutch is for the TR3650. The 03/04 Cobras have a T56.
