Any Shelby or Ford GT Owners?

Just wondering if anybody else on this site had a Shelby GT500 or Ford GT. I haven't seen any post about em and they don't even have their own section.

nice car but not worthy of its own section...fits in 4 valve just fine. How is fort worth this time of year. I lived in benbrook for three years and loved it. Great people down there

Mr. Shelby and Ford have done more for factory racing than anyone i've ever known hands down.
Sounds like by the other post on here you need to go to a real enthusiasts site for "Real Mens" cars.

I thought the only thing on the GT500 was the shelby name and some non-smear ink on the dashboards signature plate. Wasnt the Shelby Gt the only car that saw the shelby factory. someone verify for me. Dont get ne wrong I love the car but it is far from the praise I have for the older shelbys

Both... people in benbrook are great people and the GT500 is fine in the 4 valve section.LOL

Uh both use the 5.4 modular... 4V motor so why should they have their own section? When this section was created it was done so because there was so much difference between the 2V modifications and the 4V. People were giving advise to 4V owners that didn't apply to their cars but only to 2Vs.

Plus you can probably count on one, maybe two, hands of how many people have GT500s or Ford GTs that consistently post on here.

half the Fox body mustangs on this site including mine would tear a GT500 a new asshole in the 1320. please explain to me why it takes an extra 110 HP to make a GT500 1/10 of a second faster then a 2004 Cobra? Lets cut the " real mens" b.s right here.
